Royal Albert OLD ENGLISH ROSE Rare BLACK Colorway CUP & SAUCER Mint Condition

  

"OLD ENGLISH ROSE - BLACK Colorway". The timeless OLD ENGLISH ROSE pattern but on a dramatic black background.

Virtually mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or other damage or restoratio. Pattern is crisp and bright with very very glossy glaze. No scuffs to the black background which is so common with other dark models.

No wear to gold trim - it does not appear to have been used. Cup is 2 5/8" tall and 3" to top of handle at sides and is 4 1/2" across including handle; saucer is 5 1/2" across. Marked as shown in photo with the cup having the older Royal Albert crown mark and decorator squiggles. Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash. This lovely set would make a great addition to your collection and to complete your Old English Rose service as a stand-out piece. Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash.
