RARE Well Preserved 1950's ORIS 2-Tone Dial Rose Gold Watch w/ Cal. This is indeed a rare find: An early 1950's ORIS with the well-known cal. 454 KIF movement, rose-gold bezel and a two-tone dial.

And, above all, the watch is running well and its exterior conditions are very good in spite of its 70 year s of age. Mid-size watch: 31.4 mm diameter / 36 mm lug-to-lug / lug width: 16 mm. Watch is signed 4 times "ORIS" on the dial, the case back, inside case back and the movement. The rose gold plated (10 microns) bezel is shiny and catching many eyes.

The screw-in stainless steel case back is in reasonably good conditions - no rust or dent / Engraved: ORIS - Anti magnetism - stainless steel back - waterproofs. The dial is a rarely-found 2-tone / raised gold Arabic and stick indexes with lume dots behind (the lume is no longer working) / Printed on the dial: ORIS, Waterproof, Anti-Shock, 17, Swiss Made. Acrylic crystal is very clear with no obvious marks / Crown winds and set time - but be carefully not to exert too much force when setting time, the stem could slip occasionally.

Engraved on the watch's movement: ORIS Watch Co. Swiss 454KIF Seventeen 17 Jewels / movement has no rust. Fitted with a brand new 16 mm wide burgundy-colored calf leather strap for the future new owner. Comes from my own collection. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
