Up for your consideration is this RARE and Very Interesting Piece of Fenton Glass.. MORNING GLORIES ON ROSE QUARTZ HP VASE.
This is a pretty interesting pieces of Fenton Glass & a Hard one to Research! I'm not sure that it was in the Fenton Line but here is the best information that I found. Morning Glories on Rose Quartz Vase: In the early 1980's prior to Fentons introduction of Rose Quartz in the Connoisseur Line (Cameo's) , there must have been quite a few Sample runs of this color.Keep in mind that this is the first time that this color was. Ever offered, and it has been derived from the formula that would become "Blue Burmese". It is not known if this vase was painted at the time of production or later on. It is interesting to note that, when Rose Quartz was put into production, it was not hand decorated, but sand blasted (again, that would be the cameo productions).
Take what you will from that but I took it as RARE and NOT in the Fenton Line. Such as you see in the Cameos. It's certainly not an easy piece to find at all... To describe this gorgeous vase....Obviously Blue Pansies on Rose Quartz... There is a beautiful array of Pansies in shades of Blues with Yellow Centers and. Of Greens that shimmer W/Silver Dots.
They all actually "shimmer" a bit because of the "Frit" (crushed glass) paint spread out amongst the floral painting. 7 1/2 Tall x 3 1/2 Wide. It is hand painted & signed by renowned artist... Has original Gold & Black Worker Sticker on the bottom.
A VERY hard vase to find! I package all packages with extreme care to help insure their safe arrival to you.
