Helen Rose Vintage Orange Silk Chiffon Beaded Cocktail Dress Hollywood 60's size 2-4. This dress is absolutely gorgeous! The beaded details, pleating, are of couture standard quality.

You can see the hand stitched detailing. The dress is by famed old Hollywood costume designer Helen Rose, that also designed Princess Grace Kelly's wedding dress.

Unfortunately, the dress does come with some multiple small flaws, the upper chiffon over layer has multiple tiny holes throughout it. You can wear the dress without this, but it does add that extra wow factor to it.

The other biggest flaw is at some point the bottom hem was shortened slightly and is not even. This could be easily remedied by a good seamstress, and if you wish for the dress to be longer you could use the damaged cover layer to add some ruffles to the bottom to add length. There are a couple of tiny pinhole to the dress silk but nothing overly noticeable. I steamed it and the water from the steamer left a few faint water marks to the silk in places that were not there prior to steaming.

This should be able to be remedied by a dry cleaning. This beautiful dress is perfect for the vintage collector or the girl wanting something unique for her closet. With a little TLC I think she could be brought back to her glory days. In overall good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and previous use.

There is no size label but I would say the dress fits like a modern size US 2-4. The dress measures 32 inch bust, 26 inch waist, 40 inch hips, and about 33 inches in length.
