ANTIQUE Tressemann & Vogt Limoges France 1892 pink cabbage roses 15 1/2 PITCHER TANKARD. Does have what appears to be a hairline on the inside please see last picture-it is not a repair though-never broke or anything like that-just extremely old -very beautiful though and LARGE! Tressemann & Vogt both made and decorated this gorgeous piece. Accordingly to "Collectors Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain, Third Edition" by Mary Gaston- the green T&V mark indicates the blank vessel was made between 1892 & 1907. The red bell mark indicates the piece was them decorated between 1907 & 1919.

Since the green mark date span ends around the same time the decorator marks starts, this would likely have come from early on in the decorator mark time span, the signature on the front was the artist that did the painting. Overall an exquisite and striking functional decorative piece that is rare-standing over 15 inches-weighing well over 4 lbs. A true beautiful antique treasure you can pass down for generations to come and admire.
