VERY RARE Antique 1800's Chinese Export Rose Canton Branch Handle Porcelain Teapot. For your consideration is this incredibly rare antique Chinese Export Rose Canton teapot. In all of my hours of research on this item and searching extensively on the internet for this, this is the ONLY Rose Canton pattern teapot I could find like this.

Everything else was in the Rose Medallion pattern. And among even the antique Rose Medallion teapots I found, there were only a handful of this particular style for sale.

So this is quite a find. This item dates back to the 1800's. One thing that is very unique about this item is the handle, which is called a branch handle and features two different handles that come out of the teapot and then intertwine with the other. This beautiful hand painted teapot features four panels, each with bright pink peony flowers with butterflies. The panels have a greek key pattern frame around them. Then in between the panels on each side is a gold circle with a peony flower and a bird. Vivid green leaves, pink peonies, and butterflies fill the spaces around the panels and flow up to the top of the teapot.

The top features four panels with pink peonies. The handle and the spout have gold detailing. It is stunning with the beautiful design and vivid colors. It does not have a lid.

It measures 5" tall, 8 ¼" handle to spout, and has a 4 ¾ diameter bottom. The opening at the top is 1? It is in EXCELLENT, basically MINT condition for its age. It has no chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing.
