The saucer in rose leaf form saucer is painted in a two tone green, yellow and brown. The outside triangulated rim forms the tips of the rose leaves. The white cup well of the saucer is slightly raised.
Marked to the green base of the cup with impressed Mintons and a year cypher for 1872. The saucer also impressed with Mintons and a year cypher for 1873 so made around the year ending of 1872 and the beginning of 1873. SIZE : The cup measures 2 1/2 inches high and 2/12 inches in diameter at the top.
The saucer measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 inch high. Weighs 275 g before packing. CONDITION : The green base of the cup and the saucer appear to have ware but have been missed in the making and been glazed over. It may have been intended to be made this way.
