RARE 19th C Tongzhi Chinese Famille Rose Canton Covered Bowl Tureen Porcelain

  
C e l es ti a l N o n e s u ch. A gorgeously hand painted Famille Rose Canton decorated covered two handled bowl. Exquisitely detailed, with wonderful color blends, especially across the feathers of the birds and the wings of the butterflies. Lovely twisted floral formed double handles, as well as a gilt fruit finial. Presumably Antique Chinese, dating to the Tongzhi period, 19th century.

A great object for study or display, this will make a nice addition to any student or appreciators collection of Chinese art and artifacts. Minor paint imperfection on the underside of the rim - please see attached images. Small area of what appears to be stabilization on the edge of the rim - please see attached images.
