This is a fixed price sale with best offer option for a very rare brand new watch. These were relatively so expensive that the factory only built three. This is the only (new) one remaining.
Built by Chung Nam's factory in Hong Kong (Established 1977) this company pioneered a few major innovations over the years, including making the first-in-the-world matte black and goldtone fashion watches (before the Swiss or Japanese). They also made and still make watch cases and bracelets for some very prestigious watch brands. The plating was done by them in house, consisting of rose gold colored, applied particle vapor ("IP"). It is a standard manually wound chronograph, which must be rewound every day to keep running or, you can let the power run out for safe keeping.
Watch, this probably looks just as nice. The top button starts and stops the timer, which is the big second hand and the small right dial that keeps track of minutes (1-30). The lower button resets the timer to zero (both hands pointing up).
The left inner dial is the small sweep second hand (1-60) which is always running as long as power is in the mainspring. The case is stainless steel. Width is: 39-MM plus about 6-MM for the crown. The thickness is about 12.5-MM.
The strap is a padded "croc" look but made of regular cow's leather. The buckle is a double fold-over "butterfly" push-button deployment type (stainless steel) and is also plated with rose gold colored particle vapor. Measurement overall is about 9.6, not counting the (excess) buckle hardware. This watch was bench tested and it seems to gain about 30 seconds a day. However, due to the angles of wear, which are different than the bench, it may time differently in use[1]. A skilled watchmaker knows how to adjust the fine-tuning if necessary for your liking but best to figure 30-40 seconds a day variance--as it comes from the factory. Also, while stamped "Water Resistant" this is a collector's watch and should not be intentionally submerged. Once you remove the protective cellophane or wear the watch, it is then a used item and we are sorry but we can not accept the return. We are asking you to trust our fairness in this policy.
This is because we tried like heck to prevent problems in advance and when a few problems came up, we took responsibility for our own problems. Therefore, we ask that you allow us to make the final decision as to handle a request and process for a return. Take the watch to your favorite jeweler for his or her opinion, then return it if you like.
Please understand, this is the rarest watch in our possession. We suggest that you "bench" (or table) test the accuracy before removing the protective films, just in case you want to return the item. If damaged in transit, we are responsible[2] but if damaged or even scratched while in your possession, we can not accept a return at all. (There is no replacement for this or any spare parts). This must please be treated like an uber collector's item--if not a museum piece. If we place a claim for an item lost in transit, please be patient while the Post Office or UPS investigates (it may just have been mis-routed and is only delayed, not lost). You can always message us to discuss. [1] When the chronograph timer is activated, the watch may have a slightly different accuracy.
Normally, the chronograph timer is kept off unless in use because it also uses reserve power. This is extremely rare but if there is damage to the exterior box effecting what is inside, we would please ask that you note this damage with the carrier at once upon receipt and also send us pictures when you report this to us, please do so within three days after receipt but the sooner the better.
