J. Assmann Glashutte Rare 14K Rose Gold, 53mm Heavy Pocket Watch

You are looking at an affordable piece of horological history: an all-original J. Assmann, Glashütte solid 14K hunter case pocket watch from around 1905. The 14K rose gold case is 53mm in diameter, the gross weight of the watch is 106.5 grams.

The original white enamel SS dial with gold foil five-minute outer chapter marks and original hands is simply beautiful, and it is in excellent condition. The high-grade movement is very clean, and it is working fine. The movement serial number of 16533 is matching serial number within case, of course. The watch shows minor signs of natural wear, as pictured. A definite rare find in North America.
