Exquisite MTM Laura Ashley Clarissa Ivory Pink Cabbage Rose Curtains 75L RARE

  

One of the most delightful shabby chic pairs I've made so far... These amazing NEW designer curtains have been professionally made from a gorgeous vintage lightweight crisp cotton fabric taken from the roll from Laura Ashley. It has been carefully stored since 2006! Over 4.5 metres have been used in these stunning curtains!

They measure approx 50" wide each ungathered (so 100" for the pair) and 75 long. Will reach below most windowsills.

They are fully lined with high quality cream cotton also from Laura Ashley and have 3 pencil pleat headers with cotton rich cords/woven pockets with three height settings to choose from. They are designed to hang on a standard pole or track and to be gathered to the desired width by pulling the cords. The fabric colourway is'off white', with an exquisite floral print of cabbage roses & forget-me-nots in various shades of pink, powder blue, pale dove grey, cream, pale yellow & apple green - t hey just ooze with country cottage charm!

One curtain has some imperfections I need to draw to your attention. There are a number of pin head sized yellow spots, these must have occured during storage but have not washed out. I only located them when I was ironing the fabric, they do not stand out because of the busy print. There is a hole the size of a drawing pin head that I have patched with an offcut of the same fabric.

Not noticable unless you hunt for it! Even with these slight blemishes I would happily hang these curtains, I do not feel they detract from the beautiful pattern - please view the labelled close up photographs for clarification. They drape beautifully as the fabric has been laundered & pressed prior to sewing. They are incredibly hard to find now, especially newly made like these.

I hope they go to a good home they really are rather stunning. I have provided photos of the shades against the Farrow & Ball paint chart for clarity to be used as a guide only.
