Rare Shell & Seaweed Satin Glass Peachblow Rose Bowl

  

This listing is for a STUNNING American enameled Peachblow satin glass rose bowl, c. This lovely rose bowl has beautiful peachblow coloration, dark pink shading to white with a white interior and a molded "Shell and Seaweed" design. The bowl is decorated with a hand enameled florals in orange with tiny brown leaves and random brown overlay on the larger leaves The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Larger size, m easures 5" tall, 5 1/2" wide with a top diameter of 2 7/8. Although unmarked, we believe this rose bowl was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company.

This design is pictured on page 55 of the book. "Collector's Encyclopedia of American Art Glass, 2nd Edition". This pattern was made in assorted colors and were sometimes further embellished with enameled decoration.
