Offered for sale is this rare variation Haviland "Drop Rose" Limoges porcelain reticulated serving dish, Schleiger pattern 55, with a central gold medallion and a turquoise and gold band. This is very similar to the Presidential Drop Rose pattern, but the band on this dish is turquoise not cobalt. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures.

The bowl is just under 9 inches diameter. There is very little gold wear and there are essentially no utensil marks. There are 2 short hairlines on the cutouts by the rim - the tip of the pen is pointing to them. The hairlines are more visible on the back than the front. Please see the close up pictures. Haviland and retailer marks on the back as shown. Unfortunately, we have no control over that.
