Pedestal C up & Saucer Set. Lovely vintage large pedestal bone china cup and saucer set made by Aynsley, England. Deep pink background and gold filigree details - pink being THE most collectible color.

The stunning BAILEY ROSE & POPPY pattern - roses, poppies and cornflowers with varied leaves. Complete with artist facsimile signature J. Likely a cabinet or presentation set as it appears to have been minimally used (if at all).

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either piece. No wear to the floral pattern and no wear to gold. Cup measures 2 3/8" tall at sides and is 5" across including handle; saucer is 5 7/8 across. Marked with older Aynsley crown mark in dark green - cup has pattern number 1543 handpainted in black and number 27 indicating production date of 1950; saucer has c1543 in gold and number 28 indicating production date of 1951 as shown in photos. Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash. This lovely set would make a great addition to your collection. Please remember that my items are vintage and not store-bought-new and some minor wear from age and use should be expected. I do try and describe my items accurately.
